Goodbye 2008

Both of us craved for crabs. Decided to tabao from the restuarant downstair instead of making our way to East Coast.

Ordered fried beehoon, 6 mini buns, salted crab and curry crab. Cannot wait to finish them!!
Salted crab tasted the best. There were so many salted egg york in the gravy. Yummy.
Thereafter, we headed to cinema at Tampines Mall to catch 11.25pm movie - Australia.
No party and no drink. Just our simple way of celebrating 31 Dec 2008.

World Clock

Hubby bought this world clock during our BKK trip in early 2008. It was finally hung up the wall after 9 mths move into our hse.
Why it took us so long to get it done up?
i) No electrical drill to drill hole
ii) Hubby has not find nice letterings

Satisfied with the end product. =)

Before and After....

Before...
After..
"Halo, Miss Bread. Nice to eat you!"

3D2N KL Trip (22 to 25 Dec)

Hubby was on leave these 2 weeks. Wanted to go HK but the air tickets quite costly.

Hmm, let's plan to go KL instead. He could pick up his favourite Panerai watch from sis. Also to visit sis's new hse =).

Booked Aeroline coach and accomodation at Traders Hotel.

Brother-in-law treated us Japanese food on Christmas Eve. Yummy!!

I came to know the bill was ard RM500!! Woah!

Like the lightning of the basin.

The glass panel can be moved to left or right.
The centre one tasted the best.

Complimentary foods.

Walking distance from our hotel to KLCC is abt 10-15 mins. The hotel provides shuttle service to KCLL too. Shiok!!

KLCC.
Like the ginger man decor on the tree.

Dine at Prego of Westin Hotel on first day in KL. Sis has membership which we can enjoy 50% off the bill (drink is 20% off).

Cannot finish the bread.
Giant prawn spaghetti

Sea bass. The whole fish was baked with sea salt. The waitress served the whole fish and removed all flesh and placed on the plate with potatoes.

Tiramisu. Not nice as it was watery. Missed the tiramisu of Zanotti in Bangkok.

Total bill after discount was abt RM100.

New shoping centre- Pavillion.

Decor at main entrance to shopping mall.

Inside the shopping centre.
We strolled back to hotel. Night shot of Twin Tower.

Love the circus theme of Christmas decor in Mid Valley Megamall.

Nici's cousins. Ha!!
It is soft to touch but our hse is crowded with many tenants. No more space to accomodate new member.

Bird cage decors at the 'Garden' wing.

Food court.

Mr Wind arrived

Wind is rather strong this month. Saw some ppl were flying kites at open space opp Compass Point shopping centre. The idea of flying kite at the grass patch opp our HDB striked our minds immediately.
The kite costed SGD2.50 (full set) and it was ready to take off anytime.
Mr Wind was co-operative. Our kite flew up high the sky effortless.

Hubby was in action.

It does look like a butterfly right?

Supper at Gelyang

Very Hong Kong style!
It is located at 126 Sims Avenue (near Geylang lorong 17).
Sugar cane juice served in plastic bowl rather than in plastic cup. Wonder why?
Fried tou fu.

Chu Cheong Fun. Nice!! Taste different from others.

The place was crowded with supper seekers. Their prices are affordable and the food taste not bad.
